About Us:
We are a proudly Australian owned and operated and all our products are approved Australian made.
Our labs are based in Brisbane and produce the highest quality cosmetic chemist formulated Special FX products. We use only the finest cosmetic grade ingredients and FDA approved colours to create our products.
All our products are Vegan (except the 'Skin Masque' range) and not tested on animals.
Each product has it's own MSDS sheet which can be downloaded from the site.
All our products are tested and colour matched by professional make-up artists. Our products are designed for professionals by professionals. Some of our products are quite specailised and require specific removers and application techniques. Please make sure you check the product description for any special requirements.
Are your products safe?
Our products are very safe. they are designed and tested by fully qualified skin specialising cosmetics chemists. All our products go stringent tests to make sure they are safe and have an great shelf life for our customers. All final application responsibilities lie with the user. Please ensure you read all instructions carefully and follow all the safety rules.
Do you products stain?
The lab does a number of tests to ensure our products are stain free on both the skin and clothing. We do however recommend patch testing for costume and props for peace of mind. All of our products can either be removed with soap and water or isopropyl alcohol or myristate alcohol. The bottle will indicate removal preference.
* Side note: Fusion and Flamingo in the AirFx do slightly stain the skin.
Where have i seen your products?
Our reputation is growing larger everyday. We have proudly supplied productions all over Australia and overseas, including some of the latest US blockbusters, Thor Ragnorak, Pacific Rim and Aqua Man.
And Australian dramas such as Waking in Fright, Doctor Doctor, Bite Club, Harrow, A Place to Call Home, Picnic at Hanging Rock, The Butterfly Tree, Love Child, Wrecked, The Wrong Girl, Wolf Creek 2 and Mortal Engines to name but a few.
Some of our products have even been specifically designed for productions and have now been added to our line such as our Liquid Dirt range designed for Thor Ragnorak.
What do you do?
We specialise in creating Special Fx products for every occasion. If you have a request we're sure the lab can create it. Just contact us and we can see what we can do.
How long does it take to create a special request.
It depends on the complexity of the product. We will normally endeavour to have 1st samples in a few days and revisions if need after that. Extra charges apply for bespoke products.
